"Innovation, creativity, problem-solving and collaborative teamwork" are Carnegie Mellon's core values. With vigorous and challenging academics, these values are clear to students. Here, it's "work hard, work harder." But don't be worried about a daunting mind-set; there are plenty of resources provided by the university for those who need extra help and tutoring. There's also plenty of opportunity to relax on the weekends, whether it be the Greek scene, cheap movies on campus, or, for those of age, hitting Pittsburgh nightlife scene.

Whether you're a prospective graduate or undergraduate student, Carnegie Mellon is rich with opportunities.
Through our seven schools and colleges, we offer focused disciplines in the fine arts, business, liberal arts, technology and the sciences, with the opportunity to work across disciplines throughout your college career.
Home to more than 150 student organizations, the Carnegie Mellon experience goes far beyond the classroom. And if you don't find exactly what you want, Carnegie Mellon encourages you to create your own path.
