Relaxed and chill is definitely the vibe. Students are liberal and very diverse in nature; however, there isn't discrimination here because the Ithaca community is all about 'doing life' together--asking questions, debating, and embracing new experiences. Ithaca possesses a strong artistic environment and besides a nationally recognized radio station and broadcasting program, the music and theater programs are even more renowned.

um...no...no tunnels, though most of the academic buildings are *connected* (if not connected by a shared wall, buildings are connected by either a suspended walkway (as is the case of the new PRW Center to Dillingham) or glass-enclosed walkway (as is the case of the new Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise to Job Hall). Nothing goes underground.

This school has tunnels connected all of otheir academic buildings. It's amazing in the freezing winter
