Pepperdine University COMMENTS
CCTV
The typical student of Pepperdine University tends to be devoutly Christian, right-wing, republican, and not afraid to defend their beliefs. We didn't forget to mention wealthy. When you walk around campus you will find yourself in a sea of designer clothing and sunglasses, it's Malibu after all. A student remarked that the professors aren't just here for their own independent research, they actually care and are enthusiastic about their work. If only all professors were like this. The athletic programs are nothing to sneeze at as well, Doug Christie wore the orange and blue.

Pepperdine University is an independent, medium-sized university enrolling approximately 8,300 students in five colleges and schools. Seaver College, the School of Law, the Graduate School of Education and Psychology, the Graziadio School of Business and Management, and the School of Public Policy are located on the University's 830-acre campus overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu. Courses are taught in Malibu, at six graduate campuses in Southern California, and at international campuses in Germany, England, Italy, and Argentina.
The Prudent Student (October 11, 2009)
Pepperdine is blessed with one of the most beautiful campus settings in the nation. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, our University offers students and visitors breathtaking vistas that provoke awe, reflection, and inspiration. But equally distinctive are the wonderful professors, students, staff, and friends who make up our community, and the intellectual and spiritual life that we share here.

So it's time to start looking at schools and you realized that during your four years of high school you might have spent a little bit too much time on experiences, fun or maybe even athletics. However, your grades are not the best. If your SAT scores were slightly below average or your GPA wasn't that special 4.0 - heck it isn't even a nice 3.0 - U.S. News has compiled an extensive list of schools for you. A group of educators took into account many factors that included SAT scores, Acceptance Rates, Grade Point Averages and others. The website calls these your A+ Options for B Students. Here is a list of the top 5 schools. For an extensive list please check out U.S. News website. 1. Syracuse University Syracuse, NY 2. Pepperdine University - Malibu, CA 3. Fordham University - New York, NY 4. Texas A&M University - College Station, TX 5. Miami University of Ohio - Oxford, OH

I definitely think it would be really hard to study here with the nice weather and so many distractions

It's a small school in paradise, what more could you ask for?
