Located in New York's state capital is a definite plus for those seeking political internships- yep this school has strings it can pull. Coupled with strong programs in poly sci and criminal justice bring uniquely solid experiences to students interested in these fields. Though most students have grown up upstate or in the tri state area, the populous is more diverse then expected because of the considerably different personality types. Everyone parties but some people study, some smoke, and some just sit around. Albany is anything you want it to be.
