Boston College COMMENTS
CCTV
Nothing about Boston College is muted. Bold describes everything from the highly motivated student body, to the lively party scene, the rigorous academics, the strong religious core, and even the school colors. The overall quality of life at BC is very high and students who attend are quick to praise everything their school has to offer. Many of its core values directly align with its Jesuit ideals of educating the entire person; so, although this school is pricier, the potential gain is rivaled by very few others in the country.
The Prudent Student (October 7, 2009)
B.J. Raji, a defensive tackle from Boston College, was reported as failing a drug test during NFL Combine testing. Raji, who had hoped to be a top-10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft was mentioned in a Sports Illustrated article last Thursday, as being one of the six players who had failed a test. A failed drug test would greatly hurt his draft status as he would most likely drop several spots in the upcoming draft, and stand to lose millions of dollars. However, news released this week seems to indicate that Raji was wrongfully accused. The NFL informs players who failed test in writing, and Raji said he had not been so informed, although it is not clear whether all players who failed drug tests have received their notification. Raji, who has maintained his innocence throughout the whole ordeal, is now more worried about who would start such a rumor. He also couldn't believe how such a rumor became such a big splash in the media when there was no evidence for reporters to back their stories with. While it seems that Raji is in the clear, it is still positive that reports will come out indicating he had failed a drug test. The drug that he most likely test positive for (if he is found guilty of doing so) is probably marijuana. Raji failed a drug test for marijuana during his tenure at Boston College, and has gotten in trouble before for marijuana related issues. Personally, I believe that team owners should be less worried about marijuana, as it has no real impact on his ability to be a successful football player.

Boston is just a great place to go to school. You get to see people from all of the schools up in the Boston Area. There's a rason they call it collegetown.
