When 4 years of college costs around 10K you may worry that there's nothing here. However, with over 75 majors, independent learning opportunities, an honors school, and an impressive study abroad consortium, students can receive a degree, gain real world experience, and travel the globe for a steal. The lack of diversity, strong Greek presence, and longstanding traditions may be why UNR doesn't have a higher retention rate. But, students who stay feel that, especially at the price, they would not have wanted to go anywhere else.

The legislature of Nevada has a new lobby group to manage. University students are teaming up. These pupils, however, are equipped with figures, quantities and ideas. As the legislature considers cutting schooling funding yet again, some students are fighting back.
