There are a couple of important facts that distinguish this school from so many others like it. One would be its sheer size, over 3,000 students. Another would be the professional standing of its faculty. Any student that goes to SVA will no doubt come away with the tools they need to navigate their life in the art world. Who better to learn from than an active artist that functions in the world you wish to join. What you have here is a cycle of experienced artists teaching young artists. It has been going on for over 50 years.
