Campus is full of smart kids who are excited about learning, but they know how to party and have fun as well as study. Many students here were at the top of their class in high school, but instead of going to an Ivy, chose UVA for academic excellence as well as affordable tuition for both in- and out-of state applicants. Athletes here compete in the NCAA Division I program so everyone will have a good time cheering at the game with fellow Cavaliers.

On February 12th, Forbes came out with a list of the "Top College Sports Towns" in the nation. The list which included many of the major sports markets one would think of, including a few under the radar colleges. The list is as follows: 10. University of Indiana, Bloomington, IN 9. The Prudent Student (October 7, 2009)
I visited the University of Virginia as a junior in high school and was absolutely blown away. I thought it was by far the most beautiful school I'd ever been to. In response to the post below, I want to put forth these pictures as evidence of UVA having the nicest campus.
