Fordham University COMMENTS
CCTV
Fordham has its own established community in one of New York's best boroughs and the quality of campus life dismantles the typical preconceived notions people have about the Bronx. The school offers several strong liberal arts programs, notable theater. There is great social opportunity with regard to community service, internships, networking, and heightened political awareness. When you're only minutes away from Yankee Stadium and "The City", students really can boast that they always have something great to do.
The Prudent Student (October 7, 2009)
So it's time to start looking at schools and you realized that during your four years of high school you might have spent a little bit too much time on experiences, fun or maybe even athletics. However, your grades are not the best. If your SAT scores were slightly below average or your GPA wasn't that special 4.0 - heck it isn't even a nice 3.0 - U.S. News has compiled an extensive list of schools for you. A group of educators took into account many factors that included SAT scores, Acceptance Rates, Grade Point Averages and others. The website calls these your A+ Options for B Students. Here is a list of the top 5 schools. For an extensive list please check out U.S. News website. 1. Syracuse University Syracuse, NY 2. Pepperdine University - Malibu, CA 3. Fordham University - New York, NY 4. Texas A&M University - College Station, TX 5. Miami University of Ohio - Oxford, OH
