Although students are from different cultures and cliques, the beach brings them all together, being only 15 mins from campus. C of C is a public school, but the atmosphere is definitely more like a private college with small class sizes, approachable professors, and a focus on the education of undergraduates. You can always find something fun to do in town, whether you hit up the bars, eat out, or just take a stroll through the historic city and enjoy the scenery. There's a pretty big party school rep here, but students claim it's really not as bad as it sounds.
