Although there are over 16,000 students enrolled, most freshman and sophomore classes have a maximum of 27 students. You can tap into the vast resources BU has to offer in the area of academics and research, but you won't have to suffer being as just another body swallowed in a sea of students in huge classes. There are over 250 majors and minors to choose from as well as over 400 campus organizations to become a part of. And being in Boston, you'll have easy access to city life to complement your academic life.

BU is a perfectly located as it stands in one of the best cities. there are so many things to do! u can go to the museum of science, the museum of fine arts, the boston symphony, the aquarium, go shopping in faniel hall, newbury street, the pru....or you can hop over to cambridge and check out harvard square. theres a movie theatre a block from fenway and some pretty sweet delis in brookline. the bars are pretty leinent on ids..depends where and when you go of course...the frat partties get prrtty old but are still fun....most people end up chillin at friends apartments. unfortuneatly bu doesn't have football but hockey is a major hit...you just have to get tickets!! there are plenty of intramural teams to join and every day theres pick up games of bball in the state-of-the-art gym aka fitrec. so that pretty much sums up what to do at BU...tune in next time and well discuss academics at BU.

My friends and I went to Boston last year to visit. I was one of the best weekend visits I've had in college. I definitely agree with ldanzig
ldanzig (August 31, 2009)
Boston has to be the greatest college town/city in the country, hands down.
BCE23 (October 23, 2007)
