St. John's University COMMENTS
CCTV
It is no surprise that St. John's University is very diverse. Being located in Queens New York surely helps this. Many of the students are immigrants, for many of them they will be the first in their families to go to college, a strong work ethic is pervasive. Though the classrooms are diverse, people generally hang out with others of similar backgrounds, not uncommon in NYC. They have programs in place for at risk students which include, remedial math, reading as well as tutoring free of charge. During the 80's their basketball program was one of the most successful in the NCAA.
