University of Pittsburgh COMMENTS
CCTV
Although a large school, the student to faculty ratio here is 16:1. It's not an Ivy League school, but admissions here are highly competitive, so it's not surprising that Pitt has been ranked by US News as 19th among the best public universities and Newsweek ranks it 37th globally. Yeah, students party, but there's a world of free/low-cost cultural activities for students to take advantage of--such as free admission to museums, symphonies, and operas and $10 theater tickets in the city--so you don't need alcohol to socialize.
